Judicial Accountability Amendment
"The rule of law being the basis of our Republic, judges shall be bound first and foremost by the letter of the law and by the original understanding of that law as it can best be determined. Any action that a reasonable person would consider a change of the law if done by a legislature is reserved to the legislature."
Judges were granted lifetime tenure to guarantee political neutrality. The only truly neutral position on our Constitution and our laws is their original meaning.
When Judges place political correctness above the law there is no law. When we are governed by the whims of men there is no true justice. In witness we offer abortion, The Ten Commandments Monument, sodomy, The Pledge of Allegiance, the 2000 Florida Presidential Election, prayer in schools, slavery, gun control, affirmative action, US 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, other cases, and more.
President George W. Bush stated in May, 2003 that "The judicial confirmation process is broken and it must be fixed." In fact the process will never be fixed as long as the Courts are perceived as political and they will be perceived as political as long as they act political.
