Knoppix should run on most modern computers with the BIOS set to boot from a CD. The Windows software is not guaranteed to work on every computer and/or operating system as there are too many variables for anyone to consider. Software has been tested and installed on Windows 2000, XP, and Vista and has been found to install and run on our computers, but has not been fully tested and is not warranted to be fully functional on all computers and operating systems. Some programs, as listed will only run on XP and Vista. Many of the software programs will also run on Windows 95, 98, and ME but most have been designed for Windows 2000, XP, Vista, and Windows7, and we have run no tests on Windows 95, 98, and ME and do not certify that any programs will work on these systems. Some progams may run better on Vista and Windows7 if run in Windows XP compatibility mode.
